The Friends can help the library become a leading information and referral source for its clients. The following is a list of organizations who share many of our goals in supporting CTBL and its clients:

Audio Information Network of Colorado - AINC's mission is to provide news and information in audio format for the blind, low vision and print disabled community of Colorado.

Beyond Sight - a Colorado retailer specializing in adaptive technologies that help low vision and blind individuals.

Colorado Center for the Blind (CCB) - Training center of the National Federation of the Blind located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Littleton, Colorado, with a mission of providing comprehensive training, support and opportunities to blind persons and others in developing positive attitudes about blindness. The Colorado Center for the Blind empowers blind persons to live independent lives as fully integrated, productive and contributing members of society.

Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB) - FFB's mission is to drive the research that would lead to preventions, treatments and vision restoration for the degenerative retinal diseases – including macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa, and Usher syndrome – that together affect more than 10 million Americans and millions more throughout the world.

Learning Ally - National volunteer nonprofit organization is the nation's educational library of primarily textbooks serving people who cannot effectively read standard print because of visual impairment, dyslexia or other physical disability.

Disability Law Colorado - Disability Law Colorado (DLC) is a statewide, nonprofit legal organization dedicated to advancing the rights of Coloradans with disabilities. We work to achieve fairness and justice for people with disabilities through individual and system advocacy, individual and impact litigation, state and federal policy, and through community outreach, education and training. DLC operates eight federally mandated Protection & Advocacy programs for people with disabilities and is the host agency for three Older Americans Act programs: Colorado State Long-Term Care Ombudsman, PACE (Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) Ombudsman, and Legal Assistance Developer for the Elderly..

National Federation of the Blind (NFB) - Largest organization of the blind in the world with a mission to enhance opportunity for the blind.
